Port of Melbourne

The Port of Melbourne is Australia’s largest container and general cargo port. Located in the heart of Melbourne, covering 505 hectares, the Port of Melbourne is the gateway for moving goods into and out of South Eastern Australia.

In FY23 the Port of Melbourne saw 2,800 ship visits and handled 3.2m TEU. Of this, wine was the 11^th highest export commodity, from a ranking of 8^th in FY22.
